Mother of eight, she take* her youngest with her on duty day. Cottle Family Visits Enroute to New Duty Base on Luzon Island Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth L. (Don na Jean) Cottle, Dean, Kathy and Karry are visiting his parents, Mr. | and Mrs. Kay Cottle. Dr. Cottle and his family are enroute to the Island of Luzan, Republic of the j Philippines, where he will head i the dental department at the U. S. Naval Communication station at San Miguel. Dr. Cottle was previously sta tioned at the U. S. Naval Dispen sary, Navy department, in Wash ington, D.C. While there, he was ; selected for the rank of lieutenant commander and will receive that promotion upon arriving at his | new duty station. Before leaving for the Philip pines, the Cottles plan to visit her mother, Mrs. Freda Butler in Seattle. From there they will go to San Francisco to board the ship which will take them to their new home, traveling via Hawaii, Hong Kong, Okinawa and Guam. The two Cottle couples spent last weekend visiting and sight seeing at Reno, Virginia City and Lake Tahoe. Alan Cottle, a stu dent at Utah State university in Logan, was a weekend visitor in ■ the parental home. At a meeting held March 22 in the home of Mrs. Alberta Morrow, a skit on telephone manners was presented, with Vickie Silva, Ro berta Morrow and Dolores De- fuentes telling how to acquire new friends and keep former ones. It was reported that the recent banquet was a success. Each girl took a box of Girl Scout cookies to sell to the public. Proceeds from the sale will help pay for trips, as well as upkeep on Girl Scout campgrounds. VISITOR FROM MONTANA Mrs. Bob (Lois) Lundy of Kali- spel.
