THIS PICTURE was taken Monday afternoon in the basement of Malheur Memorial hospital, as members of the auxiliary met to complete plans for their annual silver tea. (Jessie) Morgan and Mrs. Gerrit (Jansie) Bridal Shower Fetes Mrs. Brent Hartley A bridal shower honoring Mrs. Brent Hartley (nee Berniel Schul- thies) was held March 24 in the Owyhee LDS chapeL Hostesses for the event were Mmes. Clyde Bybee, David Wynn, Robert Munn and Ray Schulthies. Entertainment was provided by Mrs. Elwood Flinders who gave a reading and vocal selections were presented by Mrs. Mark Hartley and Mrs. Vai Gamer. Musical ac companiment was by Mrs. Marsha Wagstaff. A wedding cake, decorated in hues of pink and white, salad and punch were served to the guests. * The Treasure Valley Christian Business and Professional Wo men’s council will hold a dinner meeting at 7:30 Tuesday evening, April 5, at the East Side cafe in Ontario. Shirley McMurtrcy of Boise will do demonstrations with hats and Joann Hanson of Nampa will entertain with special vocal se lections. Speaker will be Mrs. Don John son of Boise, area representative, who will give an informational, gospel-centered talk. Interested persons are urged to attend this meeting as details will be given regarding the state con ference to be held during the latter part of April in Boise. Reservations may be obtained from Mrs. Pheral Dodson, at 372- 3071. Warren Carnefix of the Fruit land nursery will present a spe cial feature on gardens at the monthly luncheon meeting of the Treasure Valley Christian Wo men’s club at 1 p m. Wednesday, April 6. at East Side cafe. Mrs. Johnson will also speak to this group and music will be provided by Lila Harper. Nursery care is provided for a nominal fee and reservations may be obtained by calling 889-8276. ♦—* Siam. The "silver" affair will be held between the hours of 2:30 and 5 pan. Members of the hospital auxiliary extend an invitation to all residents of the area. Local Garden Group To Host District 11 Session During May Easter Sunday Event To Fete Dick Krieghs AHS Graduates Engaged; 1967 Rites Announced Town and Country Garden club members met recently at the home of Mrs. Harold Kassman Mrs. Tom Stenkamp gave the lesson on roses and demonstrated the correct way to prune the plants. Town and Country club will host the district 11 meeting to be held during May. Mrs. Cassie Gaskill attended as a guest. Refreshments were serv ed by the hostess. Next meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Ken neth Kerby and a plant exchange will be held. New members are most welcome.
