OREGON PAGE TEN Bulldog Wrestlers Take Undisputed Lead in SRV-A League Competition Scoring a 27-18 victory Tuesday evening over the Capital high Eagles, the Nyssa Bulldogs took over undisputed first place in the SRV-A conference wrestling contest. It was the first league loss against three wins for the Eagles. The Bulldogs’ league record stands at 4-0 and they hold a 7-0 tally for the entire season. Results of the matches are* defending Idaho state champion as follows: 98 lbs. — Fulkerson (C) pinned in the 130-pound division. Ml — Reece (N) pinned Cox. Bulldogs Defeat Vale 61-59 in SRV League Tilt; Lose 68-58 to Vallivue A 61-59 victory over Vale and a 68-58 defeat by Vallivue were results of NHS cage tilts during the past weekend. The Bulldogs got off to a good start Saturday night against the Vale Vikings and rolled to an easy 19-6 lead at the end of the first quarter. Coach Ralph Aldrich reports that Ter ry is one of the workhorses of the team and has helped unite the squad into one big offensive threat. AHS Loses to Parma; Scores 68-50 Victoiy Over Huntington Five The Parma Panthers opened the Snake River Valley B north ern division campaign with a 64- 53 win over Adrian Friday night on the Idaho court The Panthers held a 32-22 halftime lead but the Antelopes fought back and the Idaho team held a slim 43-41 advantage at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Junior Benny Conklin led the Antelopes with 19 points and Tim Tallman added 16 counters. Other Adrian scores were made by Munn and Atagi, 6 each; Franks, 4; McCain and Beebe, one each. The Antelopes traveled to Hun tington Saturday night when they scored a 68-50 victory over their host team. Conklin was again high point man for Adrian with 20 counters. He was followed by Munn with 18; Tailman and Ata gi, 8 each; Franks and McCain, 5 apiece; Beebe and Davis, 2 each. The Antelopes will travel to Middleton Friday night and will host the Melba Mustangs on Saturday evening.
