OREGON PAGE TEN Bulldogs Even Season Record al 3-3 With Loss, Victory During Weekend The John Day Prospectors invaded Nyssa territory last Friday night and defeated the host team 46-43 in the Bulldogs’ first home game. The lads in blue and white trailed 27-19 at the half and 31-25 at the beginning of the final stanza. Season record for the N IIS team now stands at three wins and three losses. The Bulldogs will host the Vallivue Falcons Friday eve ning and the Vale Vikings will come to Nyssa on Saturday eve ning. Junior varsity games be gin at 6:30 and varsity contests are slated to start at 8 o'clock. X| XI The Adrian Antelopes scored one loss and one victory in weekend basketball tilts which evened their Baker B-league record at 2-2. The defeat was a heartbreaker as the AHS team went down 46-45 at the hands of the Harper Hornets Friday evening on the Adrian court. In Saturday night play, the Antelopes defeated Jordan Valley by a 52-44 final score. ----------------------------------------- ♦ The Hornets trailed 36-28 at the end of the third quarter but rallied in the final stanza to score 18 points while the Adrian boys were limited to nine counters.
