McDermott. Mr and Mrs. R. D. McKinley went to La Grande Friday to spend th«* holiday w<-ekend with their duughter, Mr and Mrs. Jack Earnest and family. Christmas eve guests at the home of Mrs. Frankie Worden wen* Mrs. Verna Costley of Homedale, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Costley of Corvallis, Reta Camp bell of Adrian and Fred Spence of Emmett. Mrs. Verna Costley remained overnight and spent Sunday in the Worden home. Mr and Mrs. Carl Fenn were Christmus dinner guests of Mr. und Mrs. Duane Fenn at Vale Arrive From California Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Jacobson and family of Chester, Calif., ar rived last Thursday to spend the Christmas holidays with her mother, Mrs. Marie Moore. They were all Friday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Faw at Vale. Mmes. Jim Hite and Rollo Fenn were recent dinner guests of th«* former’s aunt, Mrs. Nellie New- bill in Nyssa. Jim Hite and his son, Joe, accompanied Rollo Fenn to check on his trap lines that day and report getting several chukars. Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Barton and family, Mr and Mrs Gary Thompson of Corvallis were Christmas eve guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harris at Melba. The Thompsons spent the weekend in this area and left Sunday after noon for their home. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Elmore and family of Hazelton, Idaho, visited D m 22 in the Alfred Simpson horn«*. They were en route to Springfield, Ore., and were accompanied by Elmore’s mother of Wichita, Kan. Guests of Topliffs Mr. and Mrs. Harry Warren of Parma and Leslie Topliff were Christmas dinner guests in the Irvin Topliff home. Mr, and Mrs. Bert Domy and daughter, Jill of Boise were holi day weekend guests of the Wilson Witts. Visitor From California Alan Fahrenbruch of Menlo Park, Calif., arrived Friday night by plane in Boise and was met there by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Fahrenbruch. Kesler Sr. home. Mrs. Weight is the former Carilee Kesler, and the family was enroute to Utah to spend the holidays. Another overnight guest was Mrs. Weight's brother, V. L. Kesler Jr. of Salt Lake City. He had been in this vicinity on business. Mrs. Weight and the visitor from Utah are for mer residents of the Nyssa area.
