Mrs. Bob (Shariene) Giles came face to face with a pair of bears. She was alone at the time and said she was scared half to death. The furry animals soon walked off. and apparently didn't see her. Those who know Shariene as a top notch waitress at a local cafe and are aware of her never ■ ending witty remarks, probably will agree that if the bears had seen her. they would have run instead of walk, be cause they couldn't have gotten ahead of her no matter how hard they tried. The five hunters returned homo with no elk. Nyssa High School Calendar of Events SUGAR BOWL o THURSDAY.
