THOMAS MISCHLER TREATED OCT. 23 AT LOCAL HOSPITAL A story in the Oct. 28 issue of th« Journal listed Thomas Mischler of Sheridan, Ore., among those treated last week for birdshot injuries at Malheur Memorial hospital. He was treated for facial wounds at the local hospital; however, ii was on Saturday. Oct. 23, instead of Friday, Oct. 22, as was recorded at the hos pital and reported to the Jour nal. Under normal Circumstances, a difference of one day appear ing in print would probably go unnoticed. In this case, how ever. if Mischler had been treated on Friday, he would havo been jumping the gun with his pheasant hunting, be cause the season opened Sat urday. Oct. 23.
