Mr. and Mrs Elvin Fogleman and children of Nampa attended a birthday party Sunday at the Harold Alexander home in honor of Johnny Alexan der’s third birthday anniversary. Audrie Astoreca attended a birthday party Tuesday afternoon for Carolyn Pratt at the Gene Pratt home Kenny Wilson. Gloria Lorensen, Audrie and Carmen Astoreca at tended a birthday party Friday afternoon for Katie Hite at the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hite. Mrs. Harley Wilson and Lila helped Mrs. Hite serve refreshments. Harriet Lorensen attended a birthday party Friday afternoon for Chuck Sykes at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sykes. Visitor From Ashland Mr. and Mrs. Ken Lorensen met Mrs. Ruby Helms of Ashland. Ore, at the bus depot Sunday night and took her to Owyhee corners where she will visit her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Turner. Mrs. Gabe Astoreca. Mrs. Don Connell and girls of Jackpot. Nev., were Oct. 13 visitors of Mrs Billy Linville and girls and Mrs. Tom Wiley. That night they vis ited Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Belveal and family at Nyssa. Mrs. Frank Holub and Mrs. Robert Fangen spent the week end in Portland where they at tended an open house given Sun day by a floral wholesale com pany for Oregon and Idaho flor ists. Mrs. Fangen was one of 14 florists invited to design displays, which she did for several hours Sunday afternoon. Craft Day Slated Friday Craft day for all persons inter ested in hobbies will be Friday. Oct. 22, starting at 10:30 a.m. with potluck dinner at Boulevard Grange hall. Those attending should take a covered dish and own table service. Mrs. Elver Nielsen and Mrs. Gabe Astoreca were among those attending a recent Missionary circle meeting at the home of Clara Corfield. Election of offi cers was held. Freda -Astoreca was named president; Emily Mey ers. vice president: Betty Nielsen, secretary - treasurer: Pearl Bul lard, devotion chairman; Ethel DaiL Emily Meyers and Alberta Tyner, potluck chairmen.
