GEORGE GALE COLEMAN Yellow and white floral ar rangements and candelabra con taining lighted tapers provided the altar setting for a June 5, 1965, wedding ceremony uniting Miss Patricia Ann Werner and George Gale Coleman. The 2 o’clock afternoon double ring rites were performed by the Rev. John P. Ginter in the First Methodist church at The Dalles, and were witnessed by 100 guests. Soloist was Mrs. William David, Jr., accompanied by Mrs. Roy Kunsman. Parents of the newlyweds are Mr. and Mrs. George R. Werner of Rancho Cordova, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. George T. Coleman, for mer residents of the Arcadia area now residing in Ontario. Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride was attired in a gown of white lace, with match ing lace mantilla. She carried a cascading bouquet of yellow roses, pearl - centered stephanotis and chiffon leaves. Miss Nancy Smith of The Dalles attended as maid of honor, while bridesmaids were Miss Janet Coleman, sister of the bridegroom and Miss Linda Long of The Dalles. Their floor-length gowns were of mint green whipped cream, designed with fitted bod ices. They wore matching head pieces and each carried a single, long-stemmed Golden Wave rose. Christine Wilson of Parma, wearing a dress matching those of other lady attendants and daisy crown. served as flower girl. She carried a basket containing yel low and white daisies and moss green velvet leaves. Candle lighters were Master Stanley and Miss Lucinda Earn shaw of Granger, Utah. The lat ter was dressed ideniical to the flow-er girl. Ring bearer was Mas ter Mark Werner of Rancho Cor dova. Calif. Clifford Coleman of Stayton, Ore., served as best man, while ushers were Thomas Earnshaw of Granger and Clayton Wilson of Parma. For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Werner wore a frock of beige and white lace. The bride groom’s mother was attired in a dress of pastel brocade. Each wore a corsage fashioned from Golden Wave roses. A large three-tier wedding cake decorated in gold and a sheet cake bearing the names of the honored couple’s children, grandchildren and great - grandchildren were served together with punch, cof fee and candy. The honorees received many- lovely gifts and have stated that they would like to express pub licly their appreciation to all those who attended their anniversary party and to those who sent gifts. «—« Adrian Home Is Scene Of Day Family Reunion Adrian—The home of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Day in Adrian was the scene of a family reunion held Father’s day. The seven children of Henry Day were present to celebrate the occasion with their father who is 77 years old. Also in attendance were 11 grandchil dren and nine great - grandchil dren. In addition to the host couple, those present included Messrs, and Mmes. Henry Day of Adrian; Verd Smith, Eugene; Dennis Scott and Billy. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Cottle and other relatives. The visitors also plan to spend some time with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allan But-1 ler in Seattle. Dr. Cottle is sta- I tioned at the Navy department dispensary in Washington, D. Assisting with serving, guest registration and gifts were Mrs. Gale Weeks, Mrs. Daryl Corey and Miss Karyn I Schleisher of The Dalles; Mrs. Clifford Coleman of Stayton and Mrs. Clayton Wilson of Parma. Distributing programs prior to the ceremony and serving the groom’s cake at the reception were the Misses Julie and Karen Coleman of Stayton.
