The thermometer is heading for the 90’s. People are getting lazy, and the entire town seema to cry for water. But the tourists do not complain. They like this kind of weather. As a matter of fact, that’s what they came down here for—to enjoy lite. The huge clock on the tower down at the market shows 9 o' clock. The sun has been up for four hours already, and it is easy to understand that this day is going to be one of the finest this summer. Little Kragero is over-crowd ed with people, and all differ ent languages are being spoken. The cars are moving very slow ly toward their destination. Everybody is smiling: every body enjoys summer. At lust we’re down at the har bor where hundreds of motor boats arc waiting for people to take a trip — who knows where? Time will tell. Most of the boats belonging to the tourists are cull ed pass-boats and they all have outboard engines. In the Kragero fjord there are hundreds of islands scattered around; some are big. some are small. Very few people, even those from Kragero, have been on all of these islands, and it seems as if you discover more new scenery the more you travel there. According to the fact that the temperature is getting rather high, it would be natural to go swimming for a while.
