Rolf Lier, exchange student from Norway, will be the guest speaker. He is a senior at Nyssa high school and living in the Ralph G. Lawrence home. Founders’ day will also be ob served that evening. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Nichols and sons of Parma, Mr. and Mrs. Lar ry Simmons of Caldwell were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Simmons of Boise. They were celebrating birthday anniversaries for Rex Nichols and Mrs. Larry Simmons. Visits Baker Relatives Karen Saunders visited during the weekend with cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Ennos Neil Cook at Baker. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Brenner, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Collins and Lavina, all of Boise, were Sun day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fay Collins. The Rev. and Mrs. Ellis McRob erts were Monday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Dibble. The latter couple visited Saturday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Ladies Return From Quincy Mrs. Eva Zimdars and Mrs. Harry Jurries returned Tuesday from a 10 - day trip to Quincy, Wash. They went to Quincy to be with Mrs. Zimdar’s daughter, Mrs. Duke Ross, who had surgery Jan. 5 at a Wenatchee hospital. They report bus travel very un comfortable and roads bad with snow and ice everywhere. Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Smalley, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Henshaw and daughter of Caldwell were recent Thursday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Henshaw of Middleton. The Smalleys were Friday luncheon guests at the Al Grimes home in Caldwell. Mrs. Ed Sells is reported to have been quite ill during the past week.
