Four state officers were also in at- tendance. Several resolutions were con sidered. The group favored re peal of the law permitting com mercial fishing in Oregon waters. They opposed Los Angeles hav ing Snake river water and the sales tax. They granted a 4-H scholarship for summer session and gave money for a home eco nomics scholarship. The Pomona lecturer present ed Oregon State Grange Recog nition awards for 1963 to lectur ers of Boulevard, Oregon Trail, Vale, Oregon Slope and El Dora do Granges. Three members from the new ly formed Big Bend Grange were initiated into the fifth degree. Lunch was served by ladies of Oregon Slope Grange.
