Catholic Families Feted

recent farewell party held in
Nyssa south park.
The potluck dinner was spon
sored by the congregation of St.
Bridget’s Catholic church.
The Weymouths have moved to
Ontario. The Wilsons will leave
soon for Homedale where he will
be affiliated with Ideal Gas and
Appliance company.
The Yosts will make their
home in Emmett where he re
cently purchased an interest in
the sale yard. All were presented
with going-away gifts.

Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Deffer have
given two chairs to the club for
Malheur Memorial nursing home.
Next meeting will be a covered
dish luncheon on Sept. 10 at the
Gerrit Timmerman home.

A bridge session is not planned
for Monday evening due to the
Labor Day holiday. Next sched
uled play is for Sept. 9.
