OREGON Former Nyssa Girl George Zueger Family of Vale Buys Named as Princess Cleverly Ranch in .Big Bend Vicinity To Miss Moses Lake By Helen Hatch BIG BEND — Mr. and Mrs. George Zueger and family of Vale have purchased the Lee Cleverly ranch and are now living in the house of Mi-s. Dina Muntjewerff. Mrs. Robert Adams and boys of Portland are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Varner Hopkins. Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Bennett spent the weekend with Mr. and , ’ Mrs. Lyle Foster at Joseph, Ore. Visitors From Washington Miss Carol Brock of Kingman Kolony spent Friday evening and Saturday with Miss Lois Seuell. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Avery visited Sunday with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Avery and family of Huntington. Mrs. Mary Thompson and Helen Hatch visited July 31 and were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Thompson in Jordan Valley. Girls Visit Grandparents Shirley and Diane Talich of Walla Walla have been visiting their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Campbell. Their parents, Mir. and Mrs. Noel Talich, came Sunday to visit relatives before returning home. Nancy and Connie Campbell visited last week with their cou sins, Mr. and Mrs. John Marquez and family of Nampa. Mrs. Mary Thompson and Miss Helen Hatch visited the evening of July 30 in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Borge and family in Newell Heights. They served their guests ice cream and cake and showed slides of their trip to the Hawaiian Islands. Mrs. Alvon McGinnis and Mrs. Loura Smith of Adrian visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Bledsoe and boys of Kent, Wash., in the Cecil Smith home. GRANDCHILDREN VISIT Cherry Lee and Kirt Steinke of Vale spent several days last week visiting their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Weeks and Mrs. Verda Steinke. Their brother, Dean who is a member of the Elks Little league baseball team, was in Portland where the team was competing in the state cham pionship playoffs. RETURN FROM LOST LAKE Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Capper, their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Miller of Parma, return ed home Monday from a five-day outing near Lost lake in Idaho. The two couples spent their time fishing and picking huckleberries.
