This evening, May 29, at 8 p.m. “The Life of Christ in Music” will be presented by the Rev. and Mrs. John Bullock in the Nyssa Church of the Nazarene. They have made music an active part of their ministry and at one time had a weekly musical radio pro- gram in Nampa. Selections included in this pro- gram are “The Lord’s Prayer” by Malotte, “The Holy City,” “Were j You There?”, “O Holy Night,” “How Great Thou Art” and many others. The public is invited to attend this presentation. TED M. Funeral services for Mrs. Min nie Caldwell were conducted on Monday afternoon, May 27, 1963, at Peckham-Dakan-Davis chapel in Parma with the Rev. Paul Lud low of Nyssa Methodist church 1 officiating. Mrs. Caldwell succumbed Fri day in Caldwell Memorial hos pital following an extended ill ness. She was born Aug. 14, 1882, in Bowen, Ill., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Stansbury. In her early teens she moved with her parents to Oklahoma. She was united in marriage on March 31, 1900, to Loyd Caldwell at Alva, Okla. The couple cele brated their 63rd wedding anni versary on March 31 of this year. They farmed near Curtis, Okla., until moving to the Apple Valley community in 1923 and had been residents of that area and Parma for the past 40 years. Those who knew Mrs. Caldwell have stated that patience and un derstanding made her a source of strength in her home community. She was known by family and friends as an outstanding home maker, cook, seamstress, practical nurse and excellent gardener. The deceased was a life-long member of the Methodist church. She was active in Woman’s Socie ty of Christian Service and sang in the church choir until ill health forced her to retire. In addition to Mr. Caldwell, survivors include one son, Cedric of Parma; three daughters, Mrs. Fern Johnston of Caliente, Nev., Mrs. Helen Van Landingham of Los Banos, Calif., Mrs. Lorene Wilson of route 2, Parma. Also surviving are seven grand children and 12 great-grandchil dren. Interment was made in the Par ma cemetery under direction of Peckham-Dakan-Davis chapel. MRS.
