Lewis and Michael B. Wilson are enrolled in the school of science honors program this year at Oregon State university. Both are sophomores. The program was started three years ago to enrich educational opportunities for the more able students and to recognize scho larly achievement. A total of 67 freshmen, 50 soph omores, 23 juniors and 15 seniors are participating this year. Under the program, students are enrolled in honors sections in several departments, d o extra work such as readings, research and seminars and take some spe cial classes. At graduation they receive diplomas that indicate honors in their specific fields. The program helps provide su perior students with a chance to go as far and fast in college as they can, or choose to go, said Dr. C. L.
