SWISHER Every month during a calendar year, there is some type of money-raising campaign. January has traditionally been set aside as Polio month with a specific March of Dimes cam paign. The only organized fund-raising activity for the 1963 March of Dimes is that program sponsored by the teenagers of Nyssa high school under the leadership of Vicki Maxfield. --------- < The teenage program (more commonly abbreviated TAP) had its origins in 1954.
