Thomson Entertains Members Of Farmereiles Club al Recent Meet By Farmerettes Club NU ACRES—Farmerettes club met June 20 at the home of Mrs. Merle Thomson with 20 members and two visitors attending. Dem onstration on "The 4 C’s—Clean, Cool, Crisp and Colorful” was given by Roberta Wilson and Lois Kersey. Luncheon was served by hos tesses, Mrs. Thomson and Mrs. A. p. Chesney. Recent visitors in the Ralph Baxter home were her son and family, the Max Walkers of Den ver, Colo. The two families went to the Ralph Walker home at Culver, Ore., where a family re union was held. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Schmidts and family of Madras and Johnny Walker of Seattle were also there. On the return trip the Max Walkers visited the Baxters for several days before going on to Salt Lake City to visit other relatives. This week’s visitors at the W. O. Unwin home were Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Brown on Saturday evening and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brooks of Ontario on Sunday af ternoon. Visit from California Visitors at the Rulon Esplin home the past week were Mr. and Mrs. Esplin’s daughter and hus band, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Manley of Oroville, Calif. They arrived here June 20 and left Saturday evening. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rinhold Stohler were Mr. and Mrs. Ben Walz and Carol of Caldwell, Mr. and Mrs. John Stohler and family of Mal heur Butte community. Miss Patsy Hawks left Sunday with other young people of the Methodist church to go to Saw tooth church camp. They will be returning Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Beasley and son of Hutchinson, Kan., and Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor of Rawlins, Wyo., stopped recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Merle Thomson. They were enroute to the World’s Fair in Seattle. Tay lor is Mrs. Thomson’s brother. The Rev. and Mrs. Carl Schultz of Sterling, Kan., visited over night June 19 in the Thomson residence. Visitor Attends OES Meeting Mrs. Hester Peverley of Raw lins, Wyo., recently visited several days at the home of her brother- in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Thomson.
