JUNE 1. 1961 Scout i ng *8 HiiflivMl A ira rd Miss Jeanne Poulton To Teach Typing, Graduation Services Conducted Thursday English Classes at Nyssa This Fall For Kindergarten Miss Jeanne Poulton will join* the NHS faculty this coming fall She will teach junior English and a class of Typing I. Miss Poulton recently spent six months in England and on the continent. She is now living in Parma, Idaho, and taking classes at the College of Idaho. Miss Poulton was born in Oak ley, Idaho, where she attended grade school and high school. She has attended the University of California and the University of British Columbia and has taken correspondence courses from the University of Utah. She has taught one year of Eng lish at Kent, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bellon and family left Saturday to return to their home in Danville, Calif., after attending the wedding of his sister, Joan, to James Jefferies. MISS JEANNE POULTON AN EAGLE SCOUT BADGE is being pinned on the uniform of Mike Wilson by his mother, Mrs. Bud Wilson, during district court of honor ceremonies held May 16 at Nyssa school cafetorium. Warren Farmer, Ed PICNIC CANNED REEVES COUPLE RETURNS FROM TRIP TO MISSOURI Miss Doris Koontz of Salt Lake City is visiting at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. George Mitchell. Mrs. Charles Ross, Mrs. Raymond Ross and Mrs. Willie Crow of Nampa were Sunday visitors in the Mit chell home. Mr. and Mrs John Reeves re turned Sunday foillowing a two- week trip to Missouri where they visited her mother, Mrs. Lora Ditty and his brother and sister- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Reeves and family. Enroute they visited an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs Mr. and Mrs. George Moeller Ed Powers at Denton. Kan. were Tuesday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bob McKinrey.
