OREGON PAGE SIX Knife and Fork Mr. and Mrs Walter Roth and Members to Hear Susan of Moses Lake, Wash., I were weekend guests of the Rob Ex-Counterspy Party Honors Roth Family At Dwight Wyckoff Home ert Wilson and L. A Maulding, families. The Roths were honored at a party Saturday evening at the Dwight Wyckoff home. In addition to the honored guests, those present were Messrs, and Mmes W. L. McPartland, Robert Wilson, Vaughn Stringer, Cliff Main, Dr and Mrs L A. Maulding and Dr and Mrs Don ald Oldemeyer. The evening was spent visiting and viewing pictures of the Wyckoffs’ recent trip to New Or leans. Dan T. Moore, a former ranking X-2 counter intelligence officer in Cairo and the Middle East dur ing World War II and who now acts as an industrial consultant on that area for American manu facturers, will be guest speaker at the Knife and Fork club at its meeting April 13, 7:30 p.m. at East Side cafe, Ontario, it has been annonced by Max Taggart, president of the club. Moore, whose career in the “cloak and dagger” profession is almost legendary, will give club members a picture of what is go ing on behind the scenes in the boiling Middle East and what chances are of a satisfactory peace for both Arabs and Israel— a problem that is puzzling state departments and embassies of powers of the world. Mr and Mrs. Cox recently re turned to Nyssa from Alamosa, Colo., where they had resided for 3V4 years. They are at home at 201 North Sixth street. The couple has two sons Gear, aid is with the army stationed at Ft Riley, Kan. He will be dis charged in July and plans to re turn to Nyssa Larry is in the navy and stationed at San Diego, Calif. These leaders will meet at the Baptist church in Ontario April 18 for the purpose of learning more about patterns and fabrics and the art of creating a dress. This same information can be applied to altering ready-to-wear garments. By the end of the day April 21, each leader will have a dress completed. Following this, they will return to their communities and conduct similar meetings for all interested women.
