The monthly meeting of Wo man’s Missionary society will be held Friday, April 7, at 2 p.m. in the home of Mrs. Glenn Hoffman. New officers were installed by Mrs Charles J. Smith when Mal heur Memorial hospital auxiliary members met in regular session March 27 at the hospital. Mrs. Robert Heldt was installed as president for the coming year. Others taking office were Mrs. Joe Maughn, vice president; Mrs Willis Bertram, secretary; and Mrs. Robert Fangen, treasurer. In addition to reports of the past year’s activities by commit tee chairmen, a report was given on the recent style show. It was announced that there had been enough funds received from neighborhood clubs and pri vate sources to purchase a chair- bed. The piece of equipment will be available to the public for use when necessary to stay overnight with a patient. A fee of 50 cents per night will be asked, to pay for upkeep and laundry. Refreshments were served by outgoing officers at the close of the Monday meeting.
