Knife and Fork Members Hear Psychology Topic Annual Bazaar Scouts Receive Pins at Annual Court of Awards The annual Girl Scout court of awards was held Monday night at the cafetorium with various troops taking part. Troop 99. under the direction of Mrs. Dick Tensen, presented the flags. Immediately following the flag salute. Mrs. W L. Mc- Partland led the group in singing “America.” Girls in Mrs. Tensen’s group who received two-year pins were Barbara Fangen, Barbara Tensen, Vicki Hamilton, Mary Chamber lain, Ruth McGinley and Ann Zit- tercob. Brenda McKinney and Deborah Davis received one-year pins. Miss Lena Kalaya is assistant leader for this troop. Mrs. George Rush is new lead er of troop 109, assisted by Mrs. Art Colby. Members of their group receiving one - year pins were Karla Simpson, Linda and Ann Colby, Julie Weymouth, Ani ta and Janice Piercy, Jane Rush, Sherry Medina. Katheryn Garner, Leah Hemgson and Susan Briehl. Olivia Holly and Ora Lee Stites had earned two-year pins. Mrs. Gene Stunz and Mrs. Wil ton Jackson are leaders of troop 81 which is getting ready to fly up or become intermediate scouts. Mrs. Stunz explained about the tenderfoot rank and each mem ber gave one of the Girl Scout laws and described it. Motto and slogan were also given. Scouts receiving three-year pins were Carol Greig, Lorraine Wil son, Stephanie Wilson, Sallee Morgan, Marcia Jackson and Ter esa Haburchak. Linda Mecham, Jerri Ableman and Kathy Burres received two-year pins and Betsy Stunz was given a pin for one- year participation. Trudy Olsen and Mary Danford had already earned two-year pins. Troop 80, under the leadership of Mrs. Jack Anderson presented a song. Two vocal numbers were rendered by troop 4 with Mrs. Cecil Richards as leader. A new Brownie troop of second grade girls has been organized with Mrs. Victor Haburchak and Mrs. William Lawrence as lead ers.
