He has been home from a Portland hospital only a few days. Later the Glenn family visited Mrs. Daisy Shook in Baker. Mrs. Charles Glenn cared for her nephew, Lonnie Bennett, from Tuesday until Friday. His mother, Mrs. Dick Bennett of Big Bend and the new son went home from the hospital Tuesday. Eight members of the Sunset Valley auxiliary met with Mrs. O. P. Counsil Thursday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Simpson and Mr. and Mrs. George Folkman celebrated Mrs Folkman’s birth day anniversary Saturday even ing with a dinner in Ontario. Mr. and Mrs. Bill E. Hadley and children were Sunday dinner guests at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Folkman. Mr. and Mrs Clyde Bohannon and family of Nyssa were Sunday dinner guests at the Harold Sny der home. The Don Snyders of Nampa are parents of a daughter born Oct. 3. He lived in the valley several years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Snyder and children went to the Clair Snyder home in Big Bend Sunday night to celebrate the birthday anniversary of the Clair Snyders’ son, Doyal, with cake and ice cream. Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Orm and children went to Brogan Sunday. While her husband hunted deer, Mrs. Orm visited Mrs. Cleve Boh- na. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Simpson went to Spokane Saturday to see their horse, Manner’s Fit, run there. They were expected home Monday. And starting this week, a new pipeline is speeding it to waiting tankers at Cook Inlet-which is a 22-mile journey through muskeg and swamp forests.
