KELLEYS SEE ROSE PARADE, ATTEND CLASS REUNION CALDWELL PIANO RECITAL SLATED THURSDAY EVENING Mr and Mrs S. P Kelley re turned last week from a vacation trip to the west coast. In Salem. Kelley attended a reunion on the 50th anniversary of his Afton, la., graduating class. From a class of 13, there were four in attendance but a number of others who were graduated from the same high school in different years heard of the reunion and were also present to renew old acquaintances. Re gina Long, class English teacher, now 76 years old and living in Portland, also attended. The Kelleys attended the Rose Parade in Portland and visited Mrs. Kelley’s daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Olsen and family Mrs Olsen is the former Beth Mitchell. From Portland they went to San Francisco where their vacation was cut short when they were called home due to the death of their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Phyl lis Mitchell. A group of grade school and junior high school girls will be featured in the third of a series of piano recitals given by pupils of Miss Wilhelmina Hoffman of Caldwell. The program will be given Thursday night in the social hall of Boone Memorial Presby terian church in Caldwell. The recital, which is open to the pub lic, will begin at 8 o’clock. Among students appearing at this time is Lynda Cundall, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. J. R Cundall of Nyssa Mr. and Mrs. Jhelmar Schoen of Kennewick, Wash., spent from Thursday evening until Saturday morning with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Schoen, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Schoen and family and Mr and Mrs Bill Miller and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Wachsnicht and daughter of Albany, Ore., ar rived Friday evening for a visit with her sister and brother-in- law, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Carpen ter.
