Nazarene Church Names Mrs. Wild Mother of Year Mrs. Ed Wild was crow ned M other of the Y ear on M others' day in the N azarene church Sun day school. Mrs. J u n e P arrish, program director, told of Mrs W ild's faithful w ork for over 40 years, m uch of th at tim e being spent as a S unday school teacher She was also praised for the w on d erful fam ily she and Mr. Wild had reared, and she was presented w ith a gift Sunday, G eorge M W ilson was presented as the one who traveled by covered wagon from C urtis, Neb His d au g h ter-in -law , Mrs. Don Wilson, related the story of his travel West. She told of his being 13 years of age w hen they left th eir fa th e r’s hom estead in May, 1900. A m onth was spent in W yom ing haying for the gover nor of C olorado and m any o th er interesting incidents w ere related of th eir experiences as the four wagons traveled from 10 to 20 m iles a day, depending upon the w ater' supply. They arriv ed at th eir destination, P ayette, Ida., ; Sept. 14.
