MAY 8. 1958 Band Students Attain Honors At Music Meet Mothers Tribute By Elks Lodge Set ior Sunday Twenty-one Nyssa high students made 14 entries in the small en semble and solo music festival held at EOC, La Grande Satur day, April 26. Placing in the first division were Barbara McPartland, Mary Lou Lancaster, Daryl Duffm, Stan Barlow, Stan Sisson, Stan Jamie son, Phillip Kent and Dennis Leavitt. The group placed first aiv.sjon in five events, second in live events, third in three events and fourth in one event. They were accompanied by Rob ert Q- Smith, NHS band director, Mrs. Sisson, Mrs. Stephens, Mrs. ' Smith and Charles Jones. Newell Heights Mrs. M. L.
