Mr M iller was born Ju n e 7, 1872 at L om bard, 111. and in 1902 cam e w est w ith his fa th e r and a brother, F rank, who lives in Big Bend, and a sister, Mrs. Eiza- beth P illsbury. In 1905 he was m arried to Miss F anny Pillsbury. T he fam iy moved to C alifornia in 1920 and five years ago he m oved to the hom e of his son in A rizona following a stroke. O th er survivors are a d a u g h ter, D orothy T aylor of O akland, Calif.; several grandchildren; a nephew , Jim M iller and a niece, Mrs. V irginia T im m erm an of Newell Heights.
