Instead of V iolinist Tossy Spiv- aovsky, M onday n ig h t’s concert w ill fe atu re Sascha G orodm tzki. pianist, who will play at the O n tario high school auditorium , b e ginning at 8:15. This artist was born in Kiev, Russia and was brought to this country before he was a year old. His great talen t was discovered in his childhood and his first teach er was his m other, who was a p ian ist and singer. His parents refused to allow him to become a child prodigy and it was as a m atu re a rtis t th at he m ade his d ebut as w in n er of the S chubert M em orial prize. G orodnitzki builds his p ro g ram s on the principles of b al ance, v ariety and interest. He is firm ly established in the very lim ited front row of star pianists. Spivaovsky, whose picture and details of his violin playing a p pear on page 9, w ill be featured at a com m unity concert in O n tario in F ebruary. Mr. and son, J. P. guests at Mrs. Leon F uneral services w ill be S a t urday at 2 p m at the Lienkaem - per chapel for Mrs. Josephine Irene G oldm an, 73, who died W ed nesday m orning at the M alheur M em orial hospital following a long illness. Mrs. G oldm an was born Jan. 15, 1881 in N orth P latte, Neb., and has m ade her home in Nyssa w ith her sister, Mrs Lloyd M arshall, since h er husband passed aw ay in Septem ber, 1952. Survivors besides Mrs. M arshall are a brother, F red W illiam s of Boise, one niece and tw o nephew s The Rev. V ernon L.
