Pet Burro Shot
In Adrian Pasture
A pet burro, owned by Vern
Parker at Adrian, was shot one
day this week while it was graz
ing in a pasture near the Snake
river. The incident was reported
to Sheriff John Elfering who said
that it was not known whether
the shooting was accidental or
deliberate and that he doubted if
any hunter had mistaken the ani-
mal for a deer.
