COM PLETES BASIC TRAINING
A /3c Don Poulson has finished
his basic train in g at S an Antonio,
Texas, w here he passed tests in
th e upper th ird of his class, which
enables him to take fu rth e r tra in
ing in accounting.
He is now stationed at Lake
C harles, La.
Poulson is th e son of Mr. and
Mrs. G. E. Poulson.

bered th e opposition 12 to zero.
T he gam e was the annual hom e
com ing tussle. A dance was held
th e sam e evening.
A t half-tim e during the game,
A m ber McCoy w as crow ned
hom ecom ing queen. The queen
and h er a tte n d a n ts had been
chosen by p opular votes from
the ran k s of the senior girls. K a r

The hom ecom ing dance, spon

n the recreatio n room of the ele

holds degrees from Colum bia
U niversity and was a fellow ship
stu d en t at Ju llia rd G rad u ate
School of Music.
