Price hom e Sunday night. Sunday evening callers at the Charlie Bowers home were Mrs. Carl Callahan, Mrs. Ed and A1 Schultz, Mrs C. D. Pittenger, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Cleverly, Mrs. Charles Chapin and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Lovitt. Kenneth Fren spent Sunday night with Derrald Slippy. Mrs. Ronald Batt entertained 8 young mothers of the LDS re lief Society Friday afternoon. Mrs. Batt gave them a knitting lesson and served refreshments at the close of the meeting. Joyce Bowers accompanied members of the Adrian high school band to Boise Sunday to hear the Air Force band. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Strawn are picking apples for Fred Stevens. | Mrs. G. J. Quintero and son, Juan, arrived Sunday from Chili, M exico to visit her daughter, Mrs. Tony Martinez and family. Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Price at tended a singing Sunday after noon at the Church of Christ in Vale. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Strawn made a busniess trip to New Ply m outh Friday. Mrs. Fern Hatch visited Mrs I Elsie Price Saturday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Payne and fam ily of Nu Acres were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W alter! Long Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pinkston returned home Monday even in g1 after a visit with their daughter cf Likely, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Don Fox visited Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Schaffer Sun day evening. John Howard and son, Morris, called Sunday evening at the W illis Conant home. Mrs. Oscar Schaffer spent Thursday in Caldwell with her -mother and sister, Mrs. Lanag- hen of Anderson Dam. Mrs. Lan- aghen was visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kindall. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Long visited Mr and Mrs. P M Haney in Nyssa Saturday night. , Freddie Schafer and Horace Chaney went deer hunting over the week end. Mr and Mrs. Bill Toombs visit ed Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bangert cf Payette Sunday. Mrs. Paul Cleaver and son were guests of Mrs. Ed Brandt Sunday. Earl Kygar went to Rome deer hunting last week and re turned with a two point buck. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hurst and David went deer hunting over the week end near Juntura and David bagged a deer. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cleaver visited Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Vanderpool in New Plymouth Sunday afternoon. Mr and Mrs. Charles Thomp son of Emmett visited at the A1 Thompson home Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Ed Brumbaugh were dinner guests Sunday of his mother, Mrs Brumbaugh of Ros-1 well, in honor of their 4th wedd ing anniversary. Mrs. Cleone Daughtery spent the week end in Grangeville, Ida visiting a friend. Mr and Mrs Larry Perry and two children and Mrs. Ilea Perry of Brounsboro, Ore , visited Mr. and Mrs I,. I,. Kreager for a few days last week. Mrs. Ilea Perry remained for an lndifimtc stay at the home of her brother. Dale I.imbaugh of Boise was a guest at the Claud Day home Monday and Tuesday. Mr. Day and Mr. I.imbaugh went to the; hills Tuesday and brought back a load of poles. Mrs. Lynn Hurst attended the Presbyterial Thursday in Weiser Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Thomp-1 son went to Burns on a deer and ! goose hunting trip from Thurs day to Monday. Paul Cleaver went deer hunting Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. L. R Price visited Mr. Price's mother, Arizona | Price in Ontario Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hurst ac companied their son, David who is a member of the national guard, to a Federal inspection in Ontario Friday night. Velvatea Robinson of Boise is spending the week with Mrs. Les ter Strawn. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Altig and baby and Dick Sparks of Boise visited their parents, Mr and Mrs. Art Sparks Sunday.
