A J Hollingsworth of the Nyssa Chris- , tian church. Roll call was answered by giving name, school attended and office held. Minutes were read by the sec retary, Mrs. John Elfering, of Vale. Mrs. Muriel McCutcheon, Ontario, gave an interesting report on Ore gon Congress of P T A board man agers held recently in Portland. Several committee chairmen gave short report?. Mrs. Elfering was in charge of the program, consisting of trumpet selections. "Has Anybody Seen My G al" and "Yes-Sir, That's My Baby,', by Daune Hess, accom panied by Beverly Hansen, both of Vale Henry Hartley, superintendent of the Nyssa schools gave a talk on "What Place Does the P.T.A. Play in Politics." followed by a discussion on school reorganization referen- dum.s which will be on November ballot. Light refreshments werp served to the 30 members present. Mrs. Jennelle Moorhead, state P.T.A. president was announced as the instructor for the workshop meeting of the Malheur county P. T.A when it meets at 10 a. m. Sat urday. Sept. 6, at Vale. C.W.F. TO MEET The Executive officers of thf C W.F. met Tuesday at the home of Mrs. John Stafford. Parma, to fig ure out the yearly budget.
