Mr. and Mrs Ray Cartwright spent the 4th of July with her sis ter, Mrs. William Lawler and hus band in Sunny Slope. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cartwright, vis ited her aunt. Mrs. Martha Amidon in Holy Rosary hospital at Ontario Sunday and found her much im proved. Mr. and Mrs. Prank Miller invited old friends and neighbors for a pic nic dinner on their lawn the sin o f July. Those present were, Mi>s McDonald of Parma. Mrs. Myrtle Hatch and Mrs Paul ine McGinnis of Adrian, attended a pink and blue shower at the home of Mrs. Guy Douglas last Wednes day for Mrs. Barbara Mettleider. Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Vande Water and family and the John Anker family spent the 4th o f July on Mann's Creek above Weiser. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell English and children, spent the 4th of July at the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Clany o f Roswell, her brother leonard Clany and fatnhy of Kooskia, Idaho, also were home. They all went to Caldwell to see the fire works in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Herb Thomas and their grandson. Merle, spent Sunday in Weiser with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Riley Dille. Mr. and Mrs. Herb Thomas and Merle, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben G ra ham of Newell Heights, attended the rodeo at Vale Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Herb Thomas, and Merle, enjoyed a picnic the 4th with her brother and sister-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Raney in Apple Val ley. Mr. and Mrs. Herb Thomas en tertained the evening of the 4t:i at a lawn party. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Raney and her mother, Mrs. Myrtle Turner, and the Bawtinheimers from Roswell. Mrs. Rosie Bawtinheimer, is a sis ter of Mrs. Thomas and Mr. Virgil Raney. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Brown of Portland, visited with Mrs. Mary Brumbach and Ezra Monday after noon and spent Monday night at the. Harvey Hatch home. Myron en joyed a good visit with Howard Hatch and Joe Brumbach. The boys went through grammar school to gether. starting in 1909 at Wade.
