evening, May 7. The Bible was re­
cently presented to the Nyssa lodge
by the Rebekah lodge of Vale, a
ceremony to promote visitation
among the lodges. The presentation
will be made by Mrs Sam McCon­
nell, drill captain of the local lodge

Mrs. Yergensen Honored
Mrs. Elden Yergensen who is
leaving soon for Cedar City. Utah
was honored with a farewell gift by
members o f the First Ward Relief
Society at their Tuesday afternoon

by the social hour and serving of

ers, several readings by Lucille Pett
and two dance numbers by Irene

was decided that Nyssa will have its
own league this summer instead of
inviting Ontario team-, to partici­
pate, Hugh Tobler announced. A r­
rangements were made for the men’ i
teams to have the field Monday,
Wednesday and Friday evenings
while the women will have arce - *o
the field on Tuesday and Thursday
evenings.

business meeting, officers were elec­

10 at the Ralph Lawrence real estate
