Friends here received announce- i Lions Sponsoring Series of Shows ADRIAN, Dec. 13—The Adrian Lions club is sponsoring an amateur show at the theatre every Wednesday night. Smith is spending this week with her sister, Mrs. Andrew McGinnis, in Nyssa. Peterson. Charles Hatch of Star spent seve ral days the past week visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hatch. Mrs. Webb and Mrs. Glen Brown spent Sunday night and Monday in Boise shopping and visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Patton of Owyhee, Mrs. Tom Ferguson of Par ma and Helen Hatch of Big Bend visited Mr and Mrs. Jim McOlnnis Friday evening. Charlotte Brummer and Anna Sparks spent Sunday skiing at Bogus basin. Mrs. Earl Saarl and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Brown were Christmas shopping in Boise Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. John Adams were dinner guests Wednesday evening in the Ted Lohse home. Mr. and Mrs. L. Dierking and Mr. and Mrs. H. Mr. and Mrs Homer Hatch and Ralph of Caldwell spent Sunday in the Jim McGinnis home. Mr. and Mrs. Gerritt Bowen of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. E. Woods of Wilder visited Sunday in the Smith and Alvon McGinnis homes. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Willis enter tained a group of young people at their home Saturday evening. Sunshine Cluh O f Arcadia Gathers ARCADIA, Dec. 13—The Arcadia Sunshine club met November 30 at the home of Mrs. Les Burbank, with 14 members and one visitor present. Mrs.Elmer Stradly was elected pre sident, and Mrs. Don Lytle was re elected secretary-treasurer The women worked on a quilt for Mrs. Glenn. The next meeting will be held December 14 at the home of Mrs. Cecil Houston. The members will exchange gifts and the mystery TH U RSD AY.
