Mr. and Mrs. BUI Sybold of Hayes, Kansas were recent visitors at the Derrell Percy home. Mrs. Seybold and Mrs. Percy are sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hickman and sons visited from Tuesday until Thursday a t the Levi Johnson home. Mr. Hickman Is a brother of Mrs. Johnson. Morfltt, whose phone is 3S2R, Ont ario, Is available to assist with any problem that confronts the return ing veteran or any member of a veterans family who may have such a problem? It is expected that the .service officer will soon establish places where he can be contacted in all locations In the county and the schedule and places where he can be contacted will be announced In your papers In the near future. Ans. Yes. there Is such a pen sion. (It Is desirous of your service officer that all widows of veterans of any war in the county contact him so th at these cases In the county may be cleared up.) Q. Does the government furnish grave markers for the graves of all veterans? Ans. Yes, the government does furnish grave markers and your service officer can furnish you with blanks to make the applica tion for same. Q. Is the state of Oregon to make a loan to veterans of world war 2 similar to the one made to world war 1 veterans who enter ed the armed forces from this state. Ans. Yes. there is to be a state loan and the machinery is now being set up to take application for this loan and there should be some announcement soon rela tive to this loan.
