Return From Nebraska— Mr. and Mrs. Jake Hopp have returned from Nebraska, where they were called because o f the serious injury of their daughter, Mrs, Fred Rood. Mrs. Rood was injured in an automobile accident. Most of these are pre-war, 1941 models. Miss Doris Kuntz of Boise, sister of Mrs. Mitchell, and small niece, Betty Donnelly, are visiting this weex with Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell. POWER WHEREVER Here From Texas— Mrs. Ada Clark is enjoying a visit from her grandson, who lives in Texas. He arrived in Nyssa Friday morning and will stay in definitely. In Utah— Bishop Arvel L. Child is in Utah on a business trip. For nearly four years, electric appliances have been made only for the armed services and for war workers' housing. A few now are coming on the market. In the next few months, there will be enough to meet critical civilian needs. IDAHO Laying Sid ew alk - Albert Heldt, local contractor, is laying a concrete sidewalk in front of the Idaho Power company office, the Owyhee Drug company store and the Nyssa theater.
