necessary improvements to the pre­
sent water system of the City of

revenues, from taxes. The net rev­
enues resulting from the operation
of the system, less a sum sufficient
to care for and pay the principal
and interest of the present water
works bonds as same fail due, being
pledged for the payment of the prin­
cipal of and interest on the bonds
and such pledge shall constitute a
first lien upon such not revenues.
All bids for such bonds shall be in
writing and shall be accompanied
by a certified check on a Bank do­
ing business in Oregon, for not less
than two per cent of the par value
of the bonds offered for sale.
Bids will be received by the City
Recorder of the City of Nyssa up
to and including 8 o'clock P. M. of
September 8th 1941, at which time
and at the City Hall in Nyssa, Ore­
gon, all such bids for such bonds
shalled be publicly opened and the
bonds will be sold to the highest re­
sponsible bidder for not less than
par value and the entire amount of
the accrued interest.
In determining the highest bid re­
ceived, the Council of the City of
Nyssa will take into consideration
such preminurr.s as are offered, the
interest rate and such items of cost
as may be charged by the bidder in
connection with the purchase of the
bonds. The Council reserves the
right to reject any and all bids and
readvertise the bonds for sale.
