Miss Florence Russell and Donna Ashcraft of Adrian spent Memorial day visiting with the former’s cou sin, Bud Schweizer, at the Ontario hospital and her grandfather, R. E. Monday evening, the George Thompsons were guests of Mrs. Lawrence Thompson for a fried chicken dinner, % Messrs. Frank and Everett Miller of Melba called at the F. S. Miller home last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Gauntlett and fam ily arrived at the home of her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. R. S. McIntyre, Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Gauntlett and children will make an extend ed visit with her parents. I. A. Fritts was home for a day or so and went back to Lakevlew to stay at the home of his son, Clarence Fritts. John Poage is painting the out side of the Ellerbroek house, which they are renting. It Is going to be white and the fresh coat of paint will greatly improve the appearance of the place Mr. and Mrs. Alex Wagner and family attended the Adventist camp meeting at Caldwell Saturday. Mrs. Mollie Nelson and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Sinclair and son were also there. R. A. Scott arrived home Friday to visit his folks. Mrs. Stephens went to Boise con ference Friday with Mrs. Meltvedt, who was down for Memorial day. The Misses Lorraine, Mary and Christine Meltvedt accompanied their grandmother home Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred D. Miller and Mrs. John Poage accompanied B. T. Osborne to Boise Sunday where they attended service at the Meth odist church. Mr. and Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Poage were guests after the service at the home of Mrs. C. C. Meltvedt for dinner and in the afternoon the ladies enjoyed driving through many of the beau tiful sections of Boise. A special meeting of the Apple Valley 4-H club was held at the Ralph Gee home Friday night. Rob ert Gee and John Whistler were elected to go to Moscow from this club to attend a short course at the U. of I, A letter from G; C. Bert Hubbard Is reported on the sick list. Earl Boston began wiring the houes, on the Miller estate ranch for electric service. They hope to be connected up with Idaho Power Monday or Tuesday.
