Paul Stevens is gradually improv­
ing from a seige of pneumonia.
Harold Nelson was a Sunday din­
er guest of Bob Shad who is working
on the Bill Leavitt ranch.
The McCarty brothers have re­
ceived word that the McCarty estate
in Minden, Neb., the old home where
all the boys were bom and raised is
to be under irrigation through the
Tri-County project now under con-
structioo. Their estate is not directly
in the dust bowl area but has been
very dry for several years.
The Lincoln P T A is to have their
regular
business meeting at the
home of Mrs. Floyd Kinney on Wed-
esday afternoon, Jauary 19. Every­

The Girl Scouts met with their

move on this ranch which he and
his son Gerritt has bought.
Mr. Tom Campbell has rented the

Fourteen parents visited the Wade
school Friday and enjoyed hearing
their children take part in regular
routine of study and recitation.
They enjoyed a delicious dinner
served cafeteria style. A P. T. A.

weds, are living in tenant house on
the Tate ranch.
Mr. Piatt of Nyssa accompanied
by H. J. Sloan of Ontario was look­
ing over the Bend with intention of
