CREW A T PIPE PLANT MAKES MILES OF PIPE Enough pipe to stretch from here to Arcadia— four-foot sec tions which would measure five and a quarter miles laid end on end, have been manufactured at the Owyhee project pipe plant at Dunaway. A total of 3479 sections of pressure pipe, used for siphons, have been made and a total of 3484 pieces of culvert pipe, for use under ditches and road crossings. Each piece of pipo is 4 feet long. The plant has been operated since February 19. under the dir ection of Chas. W. Farmer, sup erintendent, and John Andrews, foreman. Crews o f varying size have found welcome employmertt. At present a big supply of pipe Is on hand for use on government projects.
