Is also the birthday month of several Nyssa people who annually celebrate their anniversaries together. The birthdays of C. KUnkenberg, Mrs. Sally Dennis, W. W. Foster and Mrs. Ella Hilton, sister of Mrs. R. J. Davis, occur on February 3rd. Every year their families give them a joint birthday celebration. This year It was observed with a dinner at the Foster home Saturday even ing. Some younger citizens were hon ored at a February birthday dinner Monday given by Mrs. Rock Shel ton In honor o f her daughter M ax ine, Mrs. Orville Glenn and baby daughter Shirley and Mrs. Emma Glasgow. Charged with the theft o f seed owned by Albert Hinsch, Francis Jordan and Farrel Ransom were arrested Saturday and are being held In the county Jail. Officers report that Ira Storey and Clarence Boling attempted to dispose o f the seed but owing to their arrest In Caldwell, on a charge of alleged com plicity in the theft of seed from the Parma Elevator, have not been return ed to Malheur county. Jordan and Ransom are charged with the theft o f around 1240 pounds of clover seed from the Hinsch granary near town early in December.
