STUDENTS BOB-SLED Closing the holidays, made unusually gay wlttl a party almost every night, a number of college students and their friends enjoyed a bob-sledding party New Years night. It was arranged by Ray Garrison, Kenneth McNall and Max Dunaway for a crowd of sixteen. JUDD ENTERTAINS Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Judd of | Kingman Kolony entertained a few friends at a card party New Year’s eve. Prizes went to Mrs. M. M. Greeling, Sr., and Mrs. Robert S. Overstreet of Boise, for consolation. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Merrit M. Oreellng. Jr„ and Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Hunt of Nyssa, and Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Haworth of Big Bend. CHARIVARI NEWLYWEDS A large crowd of friends gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. E. Schwelzer Sunday night and from there descended upon the home of Barr Doo little and his bride at the Swan Apart ments. They took them for a ceremonial ride and later enjoyed the treats pre sented by the newlyweds. BIRTHDAY DINNER In honor of her own and Miss Mabel Posey’s birthday anniversaries, Mrs. Robert Martin gave a birthday dinner New Year's eve for the Posey and Mar tin families. MRS. LATHEN ENTERTAINS Mrs. Frank Lathen gave a party Fri day night for her boys' class of Oregon Trail Sunday School. Games and re freshments made the evening delight ful. W. C. T. U. The Nyssa W. C. T. U. planned a meeting in honor of the 12th birthday of prohibition, which occurs January 16, at the Tuesday afternoon session at the home of Mrs. Leon Hlgby.
