IO R SALE Everbearing Strawberry School Notes In the flrat game of tha aeaaon the boya came out victorious They atartad out gradually and Fruit land romped in with two acorea in with two scares in the second inning while our boys never scored. From then on things went more smoothly. E. Pratt in the box, retired three men on 11 pitched balls and the boya started to play ball From the third inning on. Fruitland chances of scoring looked slim and later proved out o f tha question. Pratt worked fine while tha fielders backed him up with all they had. By the end o f the nmtn ioning the acore stood 13 to 8 in favor o f the Nyaaa bova. Lot’ s go to the Vale game played at home, Friday afternoon. What aay? The gan e with Parmaproved to be a much tighter game than the Fruitland game. Ths day waa chilly and made baaeball a hard g-tne to play but the boya gradually warmed up and by the third inning were going fairly well, Frank Kambaud, in the box, fanned out 11 men in the seven innings played but it waa loo cold for either pitcher or finders to play any real fast ball. Seven innings were all that w> a pitch ed and at the end of the 8th inning the score stood, 4 to 6 in favor o f old N. H S, FOR COUNTY CLERK W. B.
