Bend Folk lo Enjoy Novel Affair at * School House Saturday. The slides Saturday night were the best slides we have had yet. There were two sets, one “'The Cities of the United States” and "Yellow Stone National Park.” There will be a leap year sack supper and a slide at the school house Saturday evening, March 22, at 8 o’clock. Miss Marguerite Purdy spent the week end with Mrs. T. D. Scott. Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Barnard and family attended young people’s meeting Sunday evening. Miss Marie Wilson and W. L. Regele were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Looney Sun day. The wind has been raging in this country this week. The farmers were unable to do much work Fri day on account of the sand blowing so badly. Lois and Edna Wilson were dinner guests of Ella and Bernice Tureman Sunday. Robert Ruddell and Cecil Weed- mark will leave for Baker the latter part of this week. They intend to take a few head of livestock. Miss Leola Milligan is now work ing for Mrs. Cecil Case. Ruth Miller left school last week and went to work for Mrs. Betts.
