Several rare and ancient books were displayed and many in binding and illustration. Among them were books in Hebrew, Greek, Latin and Esperanto. The cordial co-operation of everyone aided very materially in the succesa. Many of the gift books must have been a sacrifice on the part of the doner. All are in first class condition and could not be purchased for one hundred dol lari. The committee, Mrs. Hunt, Mrs. Lax and Mrs. Elliott, is deserving of great credit and the gratitude of the community in planning and carrying out the event. We are sure our boys and girls and our other readers, toe, will greatly appreciate -his addition to our library shelves.
