COMMERCIAL CLUB DOINGS % OF THE W EEK WILL MEET IN HALL “ W e te ll it a s it w a s t o ld t o u s ” MONDAY Next Monday evening is the re gular meeting of the Nyssa Com mercial Club and a good turnout is expected and desired. The meeting will be held in the Robert van Gilse Hall at 8 o’clock sharp. It promises to be an interesting meeting on account of this being the first meeting since the fairs and the committee on display is going to report and display the many trophies that their efforts and Nyssa fruit have brought home, which every citizen is just ly proud of. The club is not going to stop now and just wait for the time of the next fair but asks the co-oper ation of any and all growers of fruit, grain, grasses, vegetables etc in gathering up a complete perm anent exhibit for display at its rooms in Nyssa. The Club has started on its publicity campaign and will not stop nntil every sec tion of the United States has heard of this undeveloped spot and has learned of the prosperous and beautiful country surrounding Nyssa. A special meeting of the club will soon be called and a. pomo- logist will be secured to address the Nyssaites. Look for the date.
