Well—it would take the Hushar Bard to write an ode and and Judge Flenner to deliver it in order tnat it might receive its just praise. Last Saturday the Republicans held their county assembly. No county slate was recomended and nothing of importance took place. Twenty nine d e l e g a t e s w e r e chosen to attend the Portland con vention. If all the Republican voters backed the delegates what is the majority of the people ? Democrats? Not much! We are Republican but we don’t like the flavor of this concoction. What is more pleasant than a hammock and interesting book and a cool shady place to enjoy them. We have the books and they are free!
