A POPULAR feature of the Stan Kramien circus, which performed three
shows daily at the Columbia county fair, was the clown, who performed
with his animals, which included his trained donkey shown above. His
pet monkey was also enjoyed bj young and old alike especially by those
youngsters whose band he shook. A large crowd overflowed the bleachers
and surrounded the circus ring fcr the performances.

“No Room at The Lunch Counter” or “Hey, You! Move Over!” would be
apt titles for this picture taken early Saturday morning at the Columbia
county fair. This Hampshire sow owned by Roy Nelson of Mountain View
Farms, Warren, gave birth to a fine litter of 12 piglets late Friday eve
ning. Fairgoers were giving the new mother and her offspring plenty of
attention Saturday.
