were her nephew and his family,
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Byers and two
children and Mrs. Flora Hewett
from Portland. Mrs. Hewett is a
sister of Mrs. Jessee and for
mer resident of Vernonia.
Mrs. Hilda Keasey and Mrs.
Eda Parker visited Friday after
noon with Mrs. Byron Kirkbride.
Mrs. Marie Frazee and Mr. and
Mrs. George Peters drove to Cor
vallis Saturday and while there,
called on Mr. and Mrs. Milton
Kienle. They found him much
improved from the heart attack
suffered last fall.

who owns property on the John-
son road was in Vernonia on busi
ness Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Teevin of
Seaside were guests last week
end at the homes of Mr. and Mrs.
Dane Brady and Mr. and Mrs.
Harold Bergerson. Mrs. Teevin
is the former Janet Smith, niece
of Mrs. Brady and Mr. Bergerson.
